Originally designed for Abigail Kapiolani Kawananakoa, this home boasts meticulous restorations by its current owner, ensuring every detail—from the lush gardens to the beautifully curated interior and exterior—is nothing short of extraordinary.

This exceptional estate features two distinct homes: a spacious three-bedroom main house and a lovely two-bedroom guest cottage. Although they are close in proximity, each home maintains its own privacy, equipped with separate gated entrances, dedicated parking spaces, a private hot tub, and exclusive yard or garden areas. The guest cottage provides enchanting views of Haleakala, while the main house gazes out towards the ocean.

The inviting main house comprises three bedrooms (two kings and two twins) and two full bathrooms (one featuring a walk-in shower and the other with a tub/shower combo), along with a convenient half bath located off the laundry room. You will find a generous living room and dining area showcasing panoramic views of Maui, complemented by a fully-equipped kitchen complete with an eating nook overlooking the property's waterfall features. With luxurious bed linens, you'll be sure to enjoy peaceful nights, surrounded only by the gentle whispers of the wind and the harmonious songs of local birds.

To maintain comfort throughout your stay, the house is fitted with both heating and air conditioning, though you may prefer to relish in the pleasant ambiance with the doors wide open.

This property holds a vacation rental permit issued by Maui County and adheres to the regulations set forth by the county for short-term rental homes. Please note that rentals not complying with these guidelines cannot be accepted. Be mindful that properties lacking a short-term rental permit risk closure by the county.

• Neighbors: Please respect our neighbors. Noise travels easily, especially during the evening hours. Absolutely NO loud music, parties, or amplified sounds of any kind at any time. Many neighbors rise early for work, and it is crucial that your stay does not disrupt their peace.
• Quiet Hours: Quiet time is enforced from 9 pm to 8 am.
• Use of the Property: Additional guests are NOT permitted on the property, nor can it be utilized as a meeting place. The premises are exclusively for the guests listed on the rental agreement, in accordance with county law allowing for a maximum of two guests per bedroom.
• Parking: Ample parking is available on-site. Parking on the street is strictly prohibited to ensure sufficient space for emergency vehicles, fire trucks, trash collection, and neighborhood access.

Upon booking, we will provide you with the property rental agreement for your review and acceptance. This agreement will also include important information regarding the care and maintenance of the home.
